Abstract:: This shapefile contains polylines representing coastal bluff areas in which bluff erosion rate data has been collected.
Purpose:: This shapefile was created to combine bluff erosion rate data from disparate sources in one location.
Supplemental_Information:: This shapefile was created by identifying a bluff erosion rate and a geographic reference in largely paper-based reports. The information was then transferred to the shapefile by creating a polyline representing the alongshore geographic extent of the bluff erosion data by tracing existing shoreline shapefile. The bluff erosion shapefile was created with the intention of symbolizing different report types with a differing offsets such that geographic regions that overlap are visible.
